Kelsey Friday is one of my all-time favorite people and the leader of Kelsey Friday and the Rest of the Week, making ridiculously hip rock songs for kids, or as her website exclaims; fun, happy, rockin' grooves...

But in the late 1980's at Bethany College, Kelsey was one of my best friends and...Okay, let's be honest, I was nuts about her. Anyway, in the fall of 1990 her band got its glamorous start at a party in the dark basement of our off-campus house. In 1993 the band evolved into Brownie Mary, and Kelsey became a legitimate rock start. Watch this video and see for yourself.
